Metal Slug 7

The game takes place before the events of Metal Slug 4. The Peregrine Falcon Strike Force and the SPARROWS are once again on a search for General Morden and his army. Their mission is to catch General Morden and prevent his attempts at another coup d'état on the government. However, as soon as Morden was defeated, a strange army from the future came to his aid and strengthened his army. Now, they must face Morden once again with his strengthened army and this time, put a stop to his plans once and for all.

There are seven levels and three difficulties: Beginner, Normal and Hard. Metal Slug 7 uses the Nintendo DS' touchscreen as a map of the level, making it easier for the player to look at the level and where to get power ups or captured prisoners. Metroid Prime Hunters v1.1

In Metroid Prime Hunters, the Nintendo DS' top screen shows Samus' HUD as seen from her visor, which displays the amount of remaining ammunition for the currently selected weapon along with her health; in multiplayer games, the number of kills and time remaining in the round are also shown. The bottom touchscreen displays the radar. When using the default control scheme, movement is controlled using the D-pad, and aiming is controlled by dragging the stylus along the touchscreen.

Metroid Prime Hunters features a multiplayer mode that supports up to four players and includes voice chat capability.[1] In it, the player is able to control Samus or one of six other bounty hunters featured in the single-player mode.[2] Each bounty hunter has a unique alternative form, such as Samus' Morph Ball, and a special weapon. The game host can set options for point and time limits, and restrict the use of radar. Computer-controlled players of varying skill levels can be added to games if the maximum of four players is not met.

The Lord of the Rings: Conquest

The Lord of the Rings Conquest is the upcoming video game developed by Pandemic Studios and published by Electronic Arts. It is based on The Lord of the Rings film trilogy, and borrows much of the gameplay mechanics from Pandemic's Star Wars: Battlefront games. The game allows the player to play as both the forces of good and evil, but unlike The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth, the latter option is based around Sauron stopping the One Ring from being destroyed and fighting back.
There will be both Good and an Evil campaign, varying greatly in storyline. The good plays out as the films do and the evil plays out as though Frodo had never destroyed the ring.

Prince of Persia: The Fallen King

The game uses an obviously less advanced engine than its counterpart, but it has been stated that there are over 50 different environments to explore, including deserted cities, dark labyrinths and forboding jungles. The Prince will be fighting alongside a new ally, not Elika, but a new character: the Magus. The Magus is a playable character, and it has been stated that you can switch between the Prince and the Magus to utilize either the Prince's acrobatic fighting abilities, or the Magus' magic. As the Prince advances, he will be fighting Corruption, similar to the game's console counterpart, although it has not been revealed if this Corruption is produced by Ahriman. This game will also make use of the touchscreen and stylus style gameplay of the Nintendo DS, and features acrobatics, fighting, and puzzle solving. The art style used is said to be similar to the "illustrative" art style used in the console counterparts.

Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness

Disgaea is a tactical role playing game. Battle gameplay takes place on a map divided into a square grid. The player controls a squad of humanoid units and monsters, which each occupy a single square of the grid and do combat with a group of enemies. Depending on the character and attack selected, the player will be able to deal damage to a specific enemy unit or a designated region of the map. Combat ends when all enemy units or all of the player's units are destroyed. Humanoid characters may lift and throw other units across the map in order to allow allies to move further or force enemies to keep their distance. This even allows the player to capture enemies by throwing them into the base panel; these enemies then become allies, and can be used on subsequent maps. The chance of capturing an enemy in this manner depends on several factors. Failure to capture the enemy will result in the death of all characters inside the base panel, and the enemy will survive..

Chrono Trigger

Chrono Trigger features standard console role-playing game (RPG) gameplay with several innovations. The player controls the protagonist and his companions in the game's two-dimensional fictional world, consisting of various forests, cities, and dungeons. Navigation occurs via an overworld map, depicting the landscape from a scaled down overhead view. Areas such as forests, cities, and similar places are depicted as more realistic scaled down maps, in which players can converse with locals to procure items and services, solve puzzles and challenges, or encounter enemies. Chrono Trigger's gameplay deviates from that of traditional RPGs in that, rather than appearing in random encounters, many enemies are openly visible on field maps or lie in wait to ambush the party. Contact with enemies on a field map initiates a battle that occurs directly on the map rather than on a separate battle screen. This concept had previously been featured in such titles as Secret of Mana and Final Fantasy Adventure, but was uncommon at the time for RPGs outside the action RPG genre.

Sixteen years before the story is unrolled, monsters called Beast Fiends started to appear, destroying everything in their way. Mattias, leader of the Magic Association, used a forbidden power to seal the source of the fiends. While successful in his plot, the use of that power resulted in his death. However, new Beast Fiends have been appearing, and the Kingdom faces problems while trying to protect the entire kingdom. Final Fantasy IV NDS

Final Fantasy IV retains the original Active Time Battle System from the initial Super Nintendo release. Similar to the previous remake of Final Fantasy III on the Nintendo DS, the control of stylus is limited and optional in order to retain the same control input while allowing other players to use the Nintendo DS's unique touch control scheme. However, the remake features a new ability system known as the Augment System, or the Decant Ability System in the Japanese version. The system allows for certain character-only abilities to be transferred to other characters who did not have them in the original and previous releases of Final Fantasy IV. Up to three abilities can come from temporary party members. When leaving the party, temporary characters will yield abilities of their own, the number of which is dependent on how many abilities they were given. There are also other abilities; some scattered around the world, and some that become available after certain story events.

Avatar The Last Airbender: Into The Inferno

Gameplay styles will vary on different platforms. In the Nintendo DS version, the characters will have very large heads, giving the game a cartoonish, or chibi, feel. One of the DS screenshots show that Katara's ice bridge ability will return from the previous games. Sokka's boomerang is used to break hard to reach objects or to solve puzzles; it has been discovered (from the screenshots) that the player draws a path for the boomerang to follow. Toph can earthbend small platforms to get over gaps with spikes.

Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia

Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia is a two dimensional platformer, featuring adventure and RPG elements such as the ability to equip armor and cast spells. A new combat system called the "Glyph System" allows the player's character, Shanoa, to collect icons called "Glyph symbols", which she can acquire by defeating enemies or conquering challenges. These symbols can be equipped to her arms and back, allowing her to perform special powers and skills. There are over 100 different Glyphs the player can wield, such as weapon and magic glyphs. Glyphs use MP (Magic Points) to work, and once the MP gauge is depleted, the player must stop attacking to allow it to recharge. The player can also use a special Glyph Union technique, which calls a more powerful attack based on the glyphs equipped. The Union attacks consume a separate Points gauge, called "Hearts." There are also certain Glyphs used to solve some puzzles.

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass

Phantom Hourglass is an action-adventure game with gameplay structured similar to other games in The Legend of Zelda series. The player controls the protagonist, Link, as he explores the world to find new items, information, and allies to help free Tetra and defeat the main antagonist, Bellum. As the game follows The Wind Waker chronologically, it is divided into two types of gameplay: sailing between islands, and exploring the islands and their dungeons on foot. When on land, the game shows a map of the area on the top screen, and a 3D top-down view of Link and his nearby surroundings on the lower screen. At some points during the game, usually during boss battles, a 3D view is shown on both screens, allowing the player to have a wider view of their surroundings, or show an enemy from a different angle. At nearly any time, the player can bring down the map to the lower screen and draw on it, to make notes, identify locations of objects for later reference or control certain aspects of the world.
