Metal Slug 7

The game takes place before the events of Metal Slug 4. The Peregrine Falcon Strike Force and the SPARROWS are once again on a search for General Morden and his army. Their mission is to catch General Morden and prevent his attempts at another coup d'état on the government. However, as soon as Morden was defeated, a strange army from the future came to his aid and strengthened his army. Now, they must face Morden once again with his strengthened army and this time, put a stop to his plans once and for all.

There are seven levels and three difficulties: Beginner, Normal and Hard. Metal Slug 7 uses the Nintendo DS' touchscreen as a map of the level, making it easier for the player to look at the level and where to get power ups or captured prisoners. The game also introduces the Prisoner's List menu and the return of Combat School mode which was originally from Metal Slug X.

Metroid Prime Hunters v1.1

In Metroid Prime Hunters, the Nintendo DS' top screen shows Samus' HUD as seen from her visor, which displays the amount of remaining ammunition for the currently selected weapon along with her health; in multiplayer games, the number of kills and time remaining in the round are also shown. The bottom touchscreen displays the radar. When using the default control scheme, movement is controlled using the D-pad, and aiming is controlled by dragging the stylus along the touchscreen.

Metroid Prime Hunters features a multiplayer mode that supports up to four players and includes voice chat capability.[1] In it, the player is able to control Samus or one of six other bounty hunters featured in the single-player mode.[2] Each bounty hunter has a unique alternative form, such as Samus' Morph Ball, and a special weapon. The game host can set options for point and time limits, and restrict the use of radar. Computer-controlled players of varying skill levels can be added to games if the maximum of four players is not met.

The Lord of the Rings: Conquest

The Lord of the Rings Conquest is the upcoming video game developed by Pandemic Studios and published by Electronic Arts. It is based on The Lord of the Rings film trilogy, and borrows much of the gameplay mechanics from Pandemic's Star Wars: Battlefront games. The game allows the player to play as both the forces of good and evil, but unlike The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth, the latter option is based around Sauron stopping the One Ring from being destroyed and fighting back.
There will be both Good and an Evil campaign, varying greatly in storyline. The good plays out as the films do and the evil plays out as though Frodo had never destroyed the ring.

Prince of Persia: The Fallen King

The game uses an obviously less advanced engine than its counterpart, but it has been stated that there are over 50 different environments to explore, including deserted cities, dark labyrinths and forboding jungles. The Prince will be fighting alongside a new ally, not Elika, but a new character: the Magus. The Magus is a playable character, and it has been stated that you can switch between the Prince and the Magus to utilize either the Prince's acrobatic fighting abilities, or the Magus' magic. As the Prince advances, he will be fighting Corruption, similar to the game's console counterpart, although it has not been revealed if this Corruption is produced by Ahriman. This game will also make use of the touchscreen and stylus style gameplay of the Nintendo DS, and features acrobatics, fighting, and puzzle solving. The art style used is said to be similar to the "illustrative" art style used in the console counterparts.

Avatar The Last Airbender: Into The Inferno

Gameplay styles will vary on different platforms. In the Nintendo DS version, the characters will have very large heads, giving the game a cartoonish, or chibi, feel. One of the DS screenshots show that Katara's ice bridge ability will return from the previous games. Sokka's boomerang is used to break hard to reach objects or to solve puzzles; it has been discovered (from the screenshots) that the player draws a path for the boomerang to follow. Toph can earthbend small platforms to get over gaps with spikes.

Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia

Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia is a two dimensional platformer, featuring adventure and RPG elements such as the ability to equip armor and cast spells. A new combat system called the "Glyph System" allows the player's character, Shanoa, to collect icons called "Glyph symbols", which she can acquire by defeating enemies or conquering challenges. These symbols can be equipped to her arms and back, allowing her to perform special powers and skills. There are over 100 different Glyphs the player can wield, such as weapon and magic glyphs. Glyphs use MP (Magic Points) to work, and once the MP gauge is depleted, the player must stop attacking to allow it to recharge. The player can also use a special Glyph Union technique, which calls a more powerful attack based on the glyphs equipped. The Union attacks consume a separate Points gauge, called "Hearts." There are also certain Glyphs used to solve some puzzles.

Assassin's Creed: Altaïr's Chronicles

A young assassin returns home from an arduous journey and is tasked by his elders to find and retrieve a sacred object: the Chalice. It is said to have the power to unite under one flag all the factions of whatever side possesses it — either the Crusaders or the Saracens — and end the Third Crusade in victory for one side or the other. But the Chalice is too powerful an object to be left in the hands of men: It must be found and destroyed.

Assassin's Creed: Altaïr's Chronicles takes advantage of the Nintendo DS features. The game's main gameplay is primarily Prince of Persia-style platforming, mixed with stealth and combat. It utilizes the touch-screen for mini-games, like interrogation and pickpocketing, as well as displaying a map during standard gameplay. The game's combat system consists primarily of weak attacks, strong attacks, and combos of the two, as well as using bombs and projectiles. Seven different weapons are available, including the hidden retractable blade, a sword, crossbow, explosive bombs, smoke bombs, and throwing knives. The game also features three different levels of difficulty, allowing for more experienced players to take on a bigger challenge.

Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin

Portrait of Ruin features a 2D side-scrolling style of gameplay. One of the main features to the gameplay is that players can switch freely between two characters, Jonathan and Charlotte, similar to the "Julius mode" from Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. Jonathan and Charlotte can combine their powers to perform a powerful attack together known as "Dual Crush", and their combined abilities are needed in certain parts of the castle for them to solve puzzles and progress through the story. For example, the player must have both characters board two "motorcycles" and alternate between them to dodge obstacles to have both motorcycles intact to crash through a wall.
